Hey guys, well it seems like Skylake is a bust so no more waiting, X99 with a 5930K is still the way to go for me I guess, but the motherboards seem a bit of a minefield, case in point is what my first choice would have been, ie the Asus X99 Deluxe, alas looking online it seems people are still having issues with that range so that's a no go.

I have a couple of requirements, first is colour :-) it has to be either neutral (black or black and white) or with blue accents, nothing else will do, so that does narrow the choices down I know. Second it has to have at least 8 USB's on the back, and third it has to have some form of good auto-overclocking as I've never had any luck manual overclocking CPU's till now so need that to fall back on if I still can't get anywhere with the new board and CPU.

Right now I have this setup in mind, advice would be welcome.

MSI X99A SLI Krait Edition Intel X99 £189.95

Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C15 3000MHz Quad Channel Kit (CMD16GX4M4B3000C15) £269.99

With blue accents:
Asrock X99 Extreme 6 or WS + i7 5820K

With white accents:
MSI X99A Sli Krait edition + i7 5820K

All black:
MSI X99 Sli Plus + i7 5820K
or
Asus X99-E WS + i7 5820K

i7 5820K is significantly better than the 5930K in term of Performance/Price.

Hey thanks abui, I'm not really interested in Performance/Price so much so it's the 5930K for me, plus I'm running more than one graphics card so the extra PCI-E lanes is also a reason to get that, I would not get the 5960X however as for games it makes virtually no difference.
