Just looking to (finally) upgrade my PC. I appreciate most things probably aren't salvageable, but if I can save some money somewhere that would be rad.

I use the pc for mainly playing games. I mainly play Old School Runescape and CSGO (I assume that will change to CS2). Im really excited about Startfield, BG3 and Alan Wake 2, so would like to be able to play them. Graphics aren't my priority, as long as the games run smoothly at 1080p i'll be happy.

Im looking at spending around £850, I've been recommended a 4060 but have heard bad things. Would switching to AMD be worth it, even though a have a g-sync (no free sync) monitor

Below you can find my old build. It was built in 2014 (I think), i'm not totally sure what is salvageable (if any of it):
I only need to upgrade the tower

Thanks in advance for you help.

For 1080p I'd probably stick with a 6700XT at £300 and upgrade to the 5800X3D. Might just be personal preference though.

Do you know if losing g-sync would have a significant impact?
