Ok so I'm in the market for my first ever gpu I have it narrowed down to two gpu's ether the gtx580 or the new 680. The reason I'm thinking about the 580 is because there is going to be a lot of bargains out there with people upgrading to the 680. If it was you what would you buy?

I'll be gaming on my tv which is 1080p. But plan on getting a good monitor in the future. Really can't make my mind up what to go for. Dont see the point in the 7950 for £70 more could get a far better card like 680 or 7970. Also getting cold feet with a lot of people thinking navida has another card they are holding back on

Is it really that easy to overclock a card I'm a bit afraid off frying it lol. I'm a bit of a Xbox fan boy am I going to notice a massive improvement in graphics with a 7950?
