My arctic cooling freezer 7 Pro is on its way out (fan not well :()

want a replacement but not sure which to go for, processor 6750 oc'd to 3.2 (runs at 3.6 but not stable), on abit ip35 pro motherboard. Case is an antec p182SE

Is it worth getting a titan fenhir or a corsair H50, or just another arctic cooling model?

any issues with the H50 in Antec P182 cases?

Personally, i'd go for the H50 as it is a fantastic cooler and is very flexible so can be used on any future rigs too. With its large space and rear 120mm fan, that antec case should house the H50 happily.

However, if you want to save some money - the titan fenrir is a fantastic cooler and on offer this week.

Are you trying to clock it further?

If so, then a higher end cooler might help, but your chip might just not be able to do much more. What were the temps @ 3.6GHz?

Otherwise, the rev2 AF7PRO is now avaliable, that should be slightly better than the old one, and it's only £19.99 inc VAT

I think the best air cooler might be the prolimatech megahalems with a pair of Akasa apache fans, but you would be looking at £44.99 for the cooler, £3.44 for an extra fan clip, and £13.98 each for the fans.

Edit: Corsair do recommend using the the radiator as an intake because it means that the air cooling the radiator is cooler. But again with the H50, you'ld be best off with a pair of apaches, so it's not a cheap option comared to the ACF7PRO. Of course if you did go for a much more expensive cooling setup, you could always recycle it for your next build.

i have the swiftech h20-220 its superb

thanks for the replies, temps have never really been a problem mid 50s when gaming was average perhaps 65 at most.

overclock solid at 3.2, one blue screen at 3.4 and game crashes at 3.6 hence why i dropped back. upped voltage a bit but otherwise it was all fsb overclock.
