time for new mobo

Good that there is no budget. The QX6700 pulls 130W at stock, so when overclocking I'd suggest that you need a board with very good power regulation. A budget board is a no-no

Asus Maximus Formula would be my suggestion, extreme even if you wanted to go DDR3.

i dont plan on going ddr3 yet but if i need 2 i will.was planning on getting 2 gpu as well.just want some thing tidy for me to overclock.
ps got a striker extreme at the mo but its just to picky,it just does what it wants lol.
