Hi,

Have .jpg images from IP camera which I want to capture (either http:// or ftp://) once per hour, but to save with a different file name automatically (as filename of image from camera is constant). Time/date stamp or consecutive numbers would be fine, but they have to go into chronological order easily.

I want to do this for a few months for a personal project and then combine the images into a timelapse video afterwards.

The important thing for now is just capturing the images, is there any freeware software or something cheap for personal use? I don't mind spending a few hours getting the images into some sort of video or presentation afterwards, but I do not want to have to do anything manually gathering them in the first place if I can help it, I can just remove any which I don't want to use at a later time.

Thanks.

Seems to work well for one image, but opening it in multiple windows for 2 cameras becomes a problem.
I'll set up running in two VM's this evening if don't come up with anything else first, can export stills myself from todays images to make up the difference of anything I'm missing so far.
