Time machine Backup Problem

Hello , i set up a partition that was 5gb for my time machine backup and had a clean install of snow leopard backed up too my 5gb recovery partition,


my time machine backup partition is now a minimum of 13gb and i had too change partitions onto my downloads parition which is bigger , i want too go back too my original clean install of snow leopard but do not see the backups from the 12th may when i created this backup ,

i only see newer backups from when i changed my time machine too a different partition.

has anyone got any ideas too how this could be fixed????
