Ok, so here's a question. I know Time Machine is great for bringing back files etc, or restoring user accounts. However, I want to play around with my partitions and delete a Windows partition. As far as I can see there's no way to do that without losing the OSX data too. Can I just boot from the OSX DVD when Im done and pull the entire install from my Time Machine backup? I would have thought so but want to be sure before I go formatting !

Cheers

Woah woah woah! Back up a bit!

Crack open disk utility, select your drive and delete the Windows partition.

Once that's gone you can re-size the OS X one back up to the full size of the disk.

I've done it twice now after Boot Camp failed to actually install Windows properly. :o

Is Boot Camp not very good? I'm wanting rid of my Vista installation so I can use Boot Camp properly.

Think I might be getting a bit close to the edge of the rules actually. . .
