Not talking about work as I can manage that fairly easily. What i'm talking about is after work.

So how do you manage to fit in social life, keeping fit and extra study, whilst going to bed at a reasonable hour?

At the moment i'm managing all of the above apart from the extra study, which is what I need to do to help my career progress in the future.

When I say social life, it's mainly spending time with my gf which I consider important.

"With difficulty" is my answer.

You need to prioritise what you feel is most important, compromising those you feel aren't - depending on your job, imo, you can't do all of your points.
I'm by no means an experienced worker (im only 20 - this is my first fulltime job - only been here just coming up 2 months) but I work in the city from 8am until 6.30pm/7pm - it takes half an hour to get here and back which I speed-walk which is the keeping fit part...or atleast some of it! Over lunch I try and do extra-study whilst eating at my desk (if my peers arent eating lunch at the time - if so, i'll eat with them) - but I dont kid myself and say i'll do extra-study at home as it just wont happen!

By the time I get home and get changed it's gone 8pm then for me its time to socialise, despite being knackered. I usually go out and see my mates, go for a meal, prehaps a couple down the local - pretty much anything I can with mates as they're probably the most important thing to me. The only problem with all of this, is the getting to bed part - I usually don't get to bed before midnight, and whilst I'm not one of these people who need 9-10 hours a night, I do like a decent nights sleep to function in the morning and that just isn't happening at the moment.
