I went to play this again as it was a great game a couple of years back, only to find it's no longer playable online. What the firm has done though is come out with another game and it's running for free to play online at:

I've not played it yet and was wondering if anybody here has and what you thought of it?

I played time of defiance a little back in the day, was good fun.

I'd always thought a good idea would be a similar rts/mmo style based around f2p and micro-transactions would work.

not played the new one but might give it a go at some point
