Time of Defiance -- Want it back!

Time of Defiance, was a really fun online game, but no longer up and running and I was wondering if anybody has any idea what it would take to get this going again? The game was free to play, but the firm having this game is no longer around...

Just a dream I guess, but it was such a cool game ...

I remember this game, I owned it too. Unfortunately the time sink was too great and I quickly lost interest in the whole mining coal? so your ships could make return trips etc. Memory is hazy.
