State of Decay - Breakdown has one feature that I find so interesting and well done that I'm looking for any games that also have this:
When you resume a game, it seems to have run on in the background from where you left off, even if the PC was turned off in the meantime.
It does this, of course, by looking at the system clock at game start and then generating a number of events which are supplied with a backwards timestamp from between playing times and that can be viewed in the game diary/logbook.
It's a fairly simple process, but with a tremendously interesting effect. In fact I quite often just load the game without actually intending to play it, just to see what's been happening in Zombie World while I was away.
I find this so well done that I'm looking for any other games that do a similar thing. Anyone know of any?
