Recently my PC has had some time issues, it never shows the correct time, however it will show a time which is only about 2-3 days back which makes me think that its not the CMOS battery + I have disabled syncing with time.windows.com as its usless. For example the time of posting this fourm is 17:06 on 23rd September (GMT) but my PC reads 17:12 on 21st September, I have set it back various times but still no success, anyone know what to do?

Possibly Malware but I'd still think the 50p CMOS battery is worth changing anyway, also check the date/time in your BIOS to see if that's correct, it can cause a ton of problems if your system date/time is wrong even by half an hour.

oh and re-enable syncing with time.windows.com disabling that without setting another time server is a daft move. Battery is almost certainly a CR2032 or CR2016(very rare) you can get them in most supermarkets for less than £1.
