Well two things:

1. NVIDIA Pick Your Path FREE (Free Games are Assassins Creed Unity, Far Cry 4 or The Crew) FREE Game promotion ends this Wednesday at 18:00, so NO more FREE game, not to say they won't launch a new promotion at a later date.
2. Exchange rates have crashed over XMAS so unless we can get lower USD cost then cost will increase further on all USD purchasers, this effects everything not just graphics cards.


This is to highlight point one really and that NVIDIA are ending the game promotion!

Does this mean I have to use my code by Wednesday?

I would advice you do so, but I think it expires later it is just Etailors will no longer be shipping codes after today on the PYP promotion.

To be honest I'd not risk it and would pick a game and start playing.

Came to order a Gibbo, gone up £20, bugger snooze ya lose!

It had to happen unfortunately.

We held out January sale out longer than most competitors did but for the last month the exchange rates have gone from worse to terrible.

Live rate as of now 1.51!
Predicted to go down to 1.44

To think just over a month ago it was above 1.60 and as high as 1.66 area....

DISASTER!


For those who do not understand, well the cost in USD does not change, so a $600 graphics card purchased on 1.64 rate equals our cost of £366, todays cost on that same card with a 1.50 rate is £400 !!

Yes a price increase of £34 our cost on a $600 product........

Managed to switch mine with a phone call, because I was meant to get Infinity Black instead of the normal Black but I wasn't paying attention.

Also, why are the GALAX's showing as KFA2s on the store?

Long story!

Galaxy being sued due to using word Galax and Galaxy is trademarked in Germany (Europe) so they requested we revert back to KFA2 naming for now.

I take it that won't affect warranty?

Has no impact on anything, just that Galax, Galaxy cannot brand their products with those names in Europe. Back to KFA2 it is!
