Time to buy mid-low range desktop?

My current laptop is on its last legs after 4 years, power input dodgy, battery dead, touchpad faulty etc etc and it needs replacing pretty sharpish.

I'm quite taken by the Titan Krypt sold by Overclockers and having heard about possible price drops after 9th Jan due to new CPUs being realised (I think) was just wondering whether the price of this system may fall due to this?

Its a nice system once a good graphics card is selected from the drop down box(GTX460,5770.6850)

Im not sure about price drops happening immediately, also the VAT rise at midnight would kill any future price drops anyway.
