Time to Lap?

Having played with the mounting:

I recon I'll be lapping in the near future. I am starting to think below 50 load temps are in the mix when my Rads are added.

Lapping isnt for everyone, people with the newer quads/duals might be worried about voiding the warranty,id always advocate checking the seating of your heatsink and the application of thermal paste before considering lapping. Im not so bad in this case, my q6600 sits nicely at 3.6ghz on 1.4125v, ill lap the chip and the cooler base, and stick some decent fans on it, try to hit 3.8ghz on air cooling. But as for the lifespan of the chip itll probably end up being given away, quite fancy an e8600 at the mo
