How time flies.

SuperFlower Leadex Gold 650w. Invoice date 02/10/2014. Price, £56.66

Just calculated my current needs through the Be Quiet! website and 650w is probably ok, but I do have my eye on potentially getting a new CPU / GPU if BF6 turns out good, so thinking maybe a 750w to give me some leeway.

Done a bit of research and looking at these two -

Any others in the same kind of price range worth looking at? Veering towards the Be Quiet! as it's platinum. That's better, right?

What is it powering?
Any planned hardware upgrades?

How are the 12v rails holding up under load? (can check with hardware monitor or hwinfo)

If there's minimal droop on the 12v under load (11.8/11.9v is absolutely fine) then I'd just leave it alone tbh.
Cheers, I'll check and come back

Thanks for all your replies. I've ended up doing that really annoying thing by asking for advice and then doing something else.

On the way. Warranty is 12 years which gives me comfort and it's the same price as the others, plus it's Seasonic.

May as well bump it up to 850w that will leave you a bit if you upgrade, saving that I ran a 3090ti on one with no problems, core are very good, rma warranty is excellent.
I wa looking at it, s but for an extra £40 I can't see me needing it. I've looked at what my possible max upgrade path may be (5700X3D CPU / 7700XT GPU) and it should still be plenty :)

Was just looking at the 850w Seasonic and it only as 10 Years warranty when the 750w offers 12!!
Well it's arrived and the box says 10!
I think that is just a typo. If I recall correctly, when the Vertex was originally released the warranty was 10, but now it is 12.

Well that is good to know :)
