I've been soldiering on with my SG3 on Three running Slimkat for 3 years and although there's nothing wrong with it and still does everything that's thrown at it I just fancy a change but I'm torn between a 32GB S6 and a Note 4.

Best deals I can find via uswitch are either S6 or Note 4 on EE with unlimited calls and text plus 5GB Data for £31.99 pm which makes the phone about £400 and plan £15 pm which Isn't bad.

I originally wanted to wait for the Note 5 but honestly i want to stick to close as i can £30 pm, no way will i get a Note 5 for that. The Note 4 still looks awesome and being a owner of a Sheild Tablet I really like a stylus but the S6 is newer as newer features, a better camera and will be supported longer. I've never owned a phone bigger than a S3 and although my heart says I'll be fine with a Note 4 my head says it's too big!

Given the choice what would you guys do?

Except from fancy stuff like a finger print reader there is nothing new phones on the market can do now that your SG3 can't do.

You can spend money on a new phone, but you'll find that once the novelty has worn off, the new phone will be identical to your SG3.

I see what you're saying and that probably applies more to a S6 than a Note 4 simply because of the bigger screen and S pen, after reading some opininions on Youtube (S6 vs Note 4) vids I am leaning towards Note 4. I also like emulators and heard that Dolphin for Android will be 64bit only, my understanding is Note 4 is only 32bit while S6 is 64 is that right?

The camera on the s6 is waaay faster than the Note possibly faster than the iphone 6, no more pics of a few seconds after things happened.

You are correct re the 32/64bit aspect it also has 14nm architecture.

Note 4 is great with Nova Launcher and a custom icon pack, and runs quite nicely on Android Lollipop, and as for the size, it won't take long to get used to it, and once you do it'll be difficult to go back to a smaller phone, saying that, I'm currently waiting for the S6 to arrive after having a Note 4, so we'll see how that goes :p

The S6 is 64bit and the Note 4 is 32bit.

If I can't get used to the smaller size, I'll either grab the Note 4 again or the Nexus 6, as I too would love a Note 5 but if they stick with the same design as the S6 it'll cost way more than you can get the Note 4 for currently :(
