Time to replace P180 ...700D on its way!

Hey all.
Im toying with the idea of changing my PC case.
At the moment I use P180( got it for ages now, bought it straight when it came out )
It is great and quiet case, but I need something bigger now, with more space for cables ( there is no cable management in this one ) bigger(longer) GPU etc, and maybe for future water cooling.

I dont want any windows, or fancy blue led fans etc...it has to look nice and simple, with no extra flashy lights.

And it has to be good for air cooling ( water cooling maybe next time - year)
and of course it has to be quiet, at least as p180 is or even better :)

I was thinking about nzxt phantom, loads of inside space, but it looks plastiky ...
My budget is around £250...Could you recommend me any good cases that would fit my profile ?
Thanks,
Lukas

This case come to mind, though it's slightly over your budget: Coolermaster ATCS 840

- Sleek and clean looking
- Good airflow
- Massive interior, plenty of space
- Aluminium so lightweight for it's size
- Brackets for mounting a 360mm radiator at the top

will have a look, thx

haf x
fractal design R3
CM 690 II
nzxt phantom
700d
in haf x I would need to replace all fans for ones without led ..? ..will look in to others.

700d without a doubt.

it has everything you need.
was looking into 700D.

thanks,

if onlu I would have over £200 I would go for one of Lian Li cases ;)

Yep, that's what it is, plasticky bling bling ping pong china toy with noise leak holes to every direction.
There are really very little clean classic looking case and hardly any which have anykind similar vibration resistance and acoustical opacity of panels (as P180) at stock without adding mass damping.

Antec went and pushed their head to their own rear and Thermaltrashed clean look of P-serie so you might not like E-ATX depth variant P193.

Fractal Design R3 is quite similar sized with more depth but non-chambered internal layout gives more open space and it has those fashionable cables holes. Also it has mass damping but while it has plates for blocking extra fan holes those meshes still show in otherwise clean look.
Fractal Design XL is E-ATX size version with chambered design and less extrenal holes.

What it is with you people wanting to pay more than necesssary just for some fashion buzzwords and design peculiarities?

There are couple Lian Lis which need mass damping aka bitumen mat for reaching full potential.
PC-B10 isn't much bigger than P180 and that light fraud foam would need to be removed out of the way of mass damping with price £170.
For cheap compared to PC-B10 £184 Lian Li has lot bigger PC-A71FB which is E-ATX depth full tower. It doesn't have much of factory made "cable management for dummies" but big size gives plenty of space to work with cable management:

missed Fractal Design XL ... looks good and neat

and the way this Lian Li from link looks is nice ;D

thanks for that :)

Thank you,

700D shopuld be with me tomorrow :)

It will be great chance to test new thermal paste from OCuk as well :) once Im done will post some pictires ;)

So DPD did not disappointed me today and brought new shiny 700D :)

Box is huge, case big ;D much bigger than 180.

Love the side panels and the way you can take them off...nothing like rubbish panels in 180 that you can force to close if there are any cables on a side ...

So one happy bunny I am ;)

I wanted to move everything to it today but have no time so will try to do it tomorrow :)
