Looks like a nice choice of parts. Case is a big expensive there is the 500 model for half the price if wanted to save money.

What CPU/RAM/MB are you upgrading from?

Welcome aboard.

No sense to spend on expensive motherboard without actual need.
It won't make CPU any faster or longer lasting.
£155 B55 Aorus Elite would be perfect if you don't need Wifi.

And B550M Mortar woudl give Wifi for £170.

Also cooler is unnecessary expensive for 65W TDP CPU.
This would be good all the way to 16 core Ryzen for £43.

And for only 8 core £21 Arctic Freezer 34 would be very competent.

Neiter does very expensive case improve gaming experience/immersion.
Instead of of spending luxury/unnecessary much in those for no real return, you should be putting money into things giving that actual immersion.
27" 2560x1440 VAs start from £280.

And £300 is starting point for IPS.

If you prefer darkened room VA's the way highest contrast of LCDs is best, but it has some challenges is response times.
IPS has more consistent response times, but needs normally lighted room for its weak points to not show.

Thanks both. Taken up your suggestions and ill look to add a better monitor in the near future. Thanks again!

1080 Ti is well capable to 2560x1440 and no sense to get another medieval resolution monitor.

Yeah if you want to save money, they'll work fine - just slightly slower RAM speed, but the lower timings help balance that slightly.
