My rig at the moment hasn't recieved much care and attention recently... no upgrades for ages! As a gaming machine the obvious upgrade at the moment is the graphics card. Thing is, im a stingy one me... i dont really fancy paying £400 for a 5870. So question is, for about £150 (say for example, a 5830) would i see much improvement over my current rig? Or a second 4850 for only £60 in Xfire? Or does the DX 11 shift out-do any performance upgrade? If i do update does anyone know if the Vortexx cooler i currently have fits the new cards? (this one)

(btw, rig in sig)

Don't think the Akasa Vortexx Neo would be compatable with current gen's cards.

GTX460 768MB is overall faster than the 5830, but if you can stretch your budget to £170~£195, you can consider the GTX460 1GB or 5850.

Here's some comparison between the 4850 and the GTX460 768MB:

I would try to avoid Crossfiring at that level of cards, even more so if it is the 512MB version.
