Time to upgrade my graphics card.

I currently have

z77x-d3h
16gb corsair vengeance blue
Intel I5-3570k @ 3.8ghz
1000w corsair power supply
and wait for it ..... geforce GTX 260, it is starting to get on a bit.

What do people recommend i upgrade to, i don't really want to spend over £250 but may go slightly higher if it is worth it!

Without a doubt GTX 970 at the moment, or if you can wait till early next year GTX 960 if you want to save a few quid.

Or if you want to go AMD there are several 290 models that fit within your budget. They use a bit more power than an NVIDIA equivalent but with a 1000w psu, that wont be a problem.

Very nice, cooler on theese is excellent. They're my favourite model due to how quiet they run. Owned quite a few wf cards from recent nvidia generations.

An extra tenner would have netted you the G1 version, although the difference would be negligible in performance.
