I bought a lovely system from OC nearly 2 years ago now. But Im noticing it not perform as well as id like. My big thing is modding skyrim and I recently followed this guide:

http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition

With some added extras and was surprised at badly my pc performed, I even reduced textures, enb to performance etc and it still ran horribly. I know modding is so haphazard so I guess a sensible question would be is it time to upgrade and what to upgrade for new games coming like Fallout 4?

I guess my Graphics card is my weakest link here? Thanks for any help :)

System specs:

Processor
I7 - 4770k 3.50ghz overclocked to 4.3ghz

Graphics card
Gigabyte geforce GTX 770 windforce 3x OC 4gb

Ram
Teamgroup vulcan (16gb 2x 8gb) 2133mhz

Motherboard
Gigabyte G1.sniper z87 intel

Power supply
superfolower golden green HX 750w

Samsung 120gb ssd 840 evo - main OS win 8.1 installed

Yep looks like your gpu is letting u down, replace it 980Ti maybe unless you can wait for Pascal.

Im not sure if you SLI 770's would be benificial it mite be worth looking into.

Avoid the issues associated with sli and buy a new card but waiting until pascal will be ideal. you can also sell your old card for extra funds :)

If modding Skyrim is your thing then I'm guessing that you are being limited by VRAM. You should be able to confirm this by using a tool like GPU-Z. As such the 6 GB of the 980 Ti isn't much of an increase and you should go for the 8 GB R9 390X or the 12 GB Titan X.
