Time to upgrade *need advice*

Ok as you can see my system is in my sig. Im currently moving to Intel and aiming for 6600 conroe and the rest... budget will be say £600. Ive been looking at the bundles and spoted this...

Intel Core 2 DUO LGA775 E6600 2.40GHz Retail / Asus P5W DH Deluxe / 2GB Corsair XMS2-6400C4 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit - Bundle @ £599.21 inc VAT

Is this the best for my money or could i do better. I aint really interested in the overclocking side of things but i do want the 6600.

Its the motherboard thats confusing me at moment.. see i dont think ill need you know pci expess (2x) as only plan to use my 1 pci gfx card that ive got and then dx10 card later on down the line. So dont think i need SLI.

Any good options out there that you would recommend people? :D
 
So your saying i should go with bundle 1 then? :confused: just want to make sure i make right choice before i order today.

There is this bundle Intel Core 2 DUO LGA775 E6600 2.40GHz Retail / Gigabyte 965P DS3 / 2GB Corsair XMS2-6400C4 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit - Bundle @ £546.34 inc VAT and that is the DS3 board.

I notice it only has 1 PCI-E gfx port which is fine for me and ill save money aswell.

All help is welcomed :)

If you want to save yourself some money then perhaps go for the bundle you just mentioned, you could probably also get a different CPU cooler within that price as well (eg freezer 7), I've got the ds3 and its a great motherboard. Corsair RAM is also very good so that looks like a good bundle :). Also as I mentioned before, you are not going to overclock, but with that board its nice to know that if you wanted to you could (HSF permitting). Perhaps see what others say, but theres what I think

Sounds all good kiz :) is the cooler easy to fit! im very capable on everything else just never fitted a cooler before? simple screw in job is it? :D
