Hey guys.

I've gone way beyond my rebuild window and decided that it is finally time to upgrade.

Currently using an i5 4670k @ 3.4, 16gb ram with a Radeon RX480.

Not looking for anything world beating. Capable of playing Football Manager and CSGO / Valorant. Budget at ~£800.

Any suggestions appreciated!

The 10400F is slightly better than the 3600 in games and is cheaper.

A 650w psu should be fine and this one comes with a 10 year warranty for much cheaper than the corsair.

Much faster NVME SSD for cheaper than a slow QVO sata drive.

Faster GPU which has NVENC encoder if you like to stream.

Much cheaper ram that you won't notice a performance difference in games.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £798.99 (includes shipping: £11.10)

Rx 580 is Not much of an upgrade from a rx 480 try and stretch to a 1660 super.

M2 drive would be be the unless you have one western digital sn 550.

Overpaying for ram you can get 32 gb 3200mhz for the same price or 16 gb for £70

At your budget Intel is hard to beat on performance although AMD currently has the better new CPUs in the ryzen 5000 series but these start at £300 just for a 6 core and it's only 17% faster in games than a £140 10400F and that's with a £1500 GPU so it will be much less with a GPU in your budget range.

Intel has rocket lake coming next year so the gaming performance might change again although AMD will still hold the productivity crown with their 12 and 16 core offerings.
