Hi there all, I feel like its time to upgrade from my old case which is falling to bits and I got when I was like 16/17 so its rather tacky feel, so many LED fans!

You can see my current build in my signature, I am however looking at upgrading to this over the course of the next few months/xmas:

I have a couple of TB HDDs in my current build as well as my R9 280x which I may upgrade but as I still only have a 1080p screen I don't quite see the benefit worth it at the moment, I am tempted with a 970 or a 980 though i must admit but maybe I wait for new cards next year before I upgrade but i feel its time to move on from my I7 930.

I really do like the NZXT H440 but I am aware airflow is an issue, also the fact the fan hub is just a hub and not a controller so those noctuas will be running full whack all the time, I just really want to go a bit smaller from my Antec 1200, damn thing was just annoying to handle and move around.

Comments welcome!

P.S not sure if I've even put this in the correct section, I do apologise if I haven't

Ok.

What is this going to be used for?

The SSD is expensive for not much capacity.

Too much money spent on fans.

EVGA PSU are better quality as some of them are made by Superflower.

The bigger PSU wattage allows you the opportunity of Crossfire or SLI, it also comes with a huge 10yr warranty.

There are lots of other quality cases with good airflow/fans or fan controllers built-in.

Is that series of EVGA made by Superflower? I was looking at Superflowers own 850W with the 5 years warranty. Not had any issues with my corsair 650w but no way am I putting a 4year+ PSU into my new build, also I want modular just to make it easier to manage especially if i want to sleeve the cables =]

I guess thats a fair point on the SSD, picked the samsung mainly because I know they have good reviews, faster write speeds and more rated IOPS but I reckon the extra space will be more beneficial.

I picked the 2 noctuas to counter the H440 front air intake, want as much static pressure and air flow to grab as much air as possible from the front and those two 140mm in the front I'll be looking at at best 320CFM compared to the 150CFM of the FN V2s in the front. I mainly picked the the AF140 to then try help exhaust all this extra air but become this is the one fan you'll see in this system, I wanted to get the corsair as they look damn nice with the blue ring on to match my black/blue colour scheme.

I am aware I can just get these extra fans at a later date rather than at once with my build.

The reason I went conservative on the PSU was because I see other build queries where someone put a ridiculously high PSU for their system and everyone essentially tells them they don't know what they're doing aha.

Yes that EVGA is Superflower.

Fans as you say can be added later, or just decide on a totally different case with less of air flow restriction.
