Upgrading my gaming rig, play sim racing games rf2, ACC, AMS2 etc

the main component will be Ryzen 3900x

from what i can see 3600 ddr4 seems the memory to go for

So which memory

Which mATX mobo

the rest i will reuse. Sticking with 1080ti until 3080ti comes out

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £270.47 (includes shipping: £10.50)

5+3 phase set up straight . But to be honest would spend the extra £20 and grab the mATX Aorus Pro that uses doubles for 10 phases + 3
Board can handle 4733hz ram if you want to play around but most likely for Zen3/ up coming APU

Chers for the reply. It looks like OC do not sell the Aorus Pro

That’s what he s implying. Next gen consoles are all based on 8C CPUs. So games will start to be optimised for lots of cores. Therefore by that extension our PCs should have a few cores more to run the OS and other services, obscene websites, malware, virus and other crap at the background.

that MSI B550m Mortar is the best board matx B550 you can get in terms of performance and value when paired with a 3900x or 3950x. Solid VRM, solid heat sinks. 2 full speed m.2 slots with one of them being gen4. The bottom PCIe slot will be disabled if you run 2 m.2 drives tho.
Thanks
