Time to upgrade

I'm a long time lurker and only just bothered myself to register because I'm in need of some advice.

As you all probably know Stalker is just out and it's making older PCs sweat a bit, including mine.....time to upgrade methinks.

Here's my intended spec:

::Probably getting::
E6600 - Cooler yet to be decided bot probably a Freezer 7 Pro
DFI R600 mobo or Asus P5B-E Plus - I'm being optimistic of R600 crossfire for the future
2GB GeIL 6400 or 2GB Crucial 4200 (apparently this can go to 850MHz at 4-4-4-12 and it costs £80)
Antec P180 - Currently using a battered coolermaster centurion (managed to break the buttons off by accident so currently my PC is a hot-wire start)
Razer DeathAdder - Currently on a Diamondback but I am tempted by this

::Already Got::
XFX 7950GT XXX - Got this some time ago so I'm waiting a while for R600 cards
X-Fi xtreme music - Had it for ages and don't see it being retired soon
Hiper 480W PSU

Now I'm wondering if I should be looking at a more powerful PSU for the future R600 cards.
Any help or suggestion on the other kit is very welcome too, cheers :)

I'd suggest the geil pc6400 stuff, I have it and tbh the extra 20/30 quid is well worth it.

Also for now the psu is fine, but early reports have suggested that the r600 uses 240 watts of power alone :eek: but like i said it's early days so they may well get this a bit more efficient.

Other than that it all looks good :)

And I'd especially reccomend the death adder. It has the same shape as the microsoft intelli mice (like the habu which I happen to have) so they're comfortable, but you get all the accuracy of a razer. What's not to love :p

Hate to say it but I would be thinking of adding a new PSU in there, the amount of Hipers that have gone recently. Seems to be each day you hear a report of another one blowing up. Anyway back onto the spec:

E6600
Noctua NH-U12F
Gigabyte DS3P
GeIL C4 PC6400 2GB Kit
