Bought my last pc from ocuk back in 2007 and its still goinig strong today. Along the way a few bits have been updated, new Graphics card, Windows 7, HDD's, but fundimentaly its the same machine.

So time for a upgrade. The most important things in need from the new system is that it needs to be quite and small. I mainly use the pc in the living room under the tv for web browsing, movies and watching tv via media centre. Also some photo editing with lightroom. Not intersted in gaming anymore.

Have been tempted to get this pre-built system from ocuk.

Silverstone Strider SST-ST30SF SFX Series - 300 Watt '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
- OcUK 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM
- Seagate 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache HDD - OEM (ST1000DM003)
- Kingston 120GB SSDNow V300 Drive SATA 6Gb/s 3 2.5" (7mm height) Solid State Hard Drive - (SV300S37A/120G)
- TeamGroup Vulcan RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLRED38G1600HC9DC01)
- Silverstone SST-NT06-PRO Nitrogon CPU Cooler
- Asus H81I-Plus Intel H81 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard
- Intel Core i3-4330 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail
- Silverstone Milo ML05B HTPC Case - Black

This comes in at £500 which seems pretty good. I was wondering if it would be worth upgrading the ram to 16Gb and the Processor to a I5 or would the differance be negliable considering my usage.
