Time trial frames are all the wrong shape. End of. No discussion.

Well, apart from the Blue Triad SL but I can't afford one of those. Seriously, can anyone find one that will give a TT length of 530-550mm and a saddle-to-BB of 785mm? Oh and a head tube around 160 would be nice.

The alternative is that I spend nearly £200 on a seat post for my Soloist and live without the ability to shift from the ski poles.

Grrrrr.

I had a quick one a little while ago with Sigma, but I can't find the details.

I've decided not to bother and just get the adjustable seat post for my Soloist and use that.

Budget.

I'm looking second hand and so with most frames the steerer has been cut already. On a lot of frames that's not an issue but getting enough saddle height is. Even on a lot of new frames there just isn't enough seat post for me.

I've got the old reversible seatpost on my soloist and although the markings have faded I think I'm well over the minimum insertion when I have the saddle in the forward position. The replacement post I've ordered is an sp6 with a sliding head rather than a rotating one so I don't have to remove the saddle to change position and it's also for a 61cm frame so should have length to spare.

That's what I've been looking at too. A P2SL with the curvy seat tube went for £250 the other day. It was even the same anodised grey as my soloist.
