Hey guys,

I've got several timelapse videos to construct from my recent Iceland trip (and don't worry, big write up and LOTS of photos to follow, including Northern Light porn)

So, how do I do it? What software can I use for OSX? I can batch process the files in lightroom then export to jpg so that part isn't an issue.

Can anyone shed any light on this please? :)

Thanks in advance,
Jake

Oh and heres a little snippet of how the hilarity of the week went. Going to collate all the video and time lapse footage along with finished photos and a friend of mine is going to put it all together in a snazzy video :)

http://youtu.be/-El_H6qBl2Q - Give it till after 6pm, its still uploading then it'll process.

I just used Windows movie maker and imported the images and tweaked withe FPS mode, prob not the best way, but it keeps it simple and easy to do.

I merged each shot into a HD video first then exported the video to a GIF. Worked fine in Camtasia Studio + Movie Maker!

iMovie has this feature no?

I know, that took 4 hours and it practically annihilated the battery, only 13% left and the Aurora was dying as well.

How many exposures was that? My gif was about 8 seconds from 84 exposures :D In -27 temps the battery did miss a few beats and dropped in tens for the hour we were out!

Pretty amazing stuff ... Howard mentioned you guys went on a pretty epic trip! Really been wanting to give star-trailing a go however living about 30yds from a city centre means a bit of a drive! The timelapse looks brill.
