Hi guys,

This may be a simple one or maybe you can tell me! :)

How do I go about changing the Windows time clocks on all the client PC's/Servers?

Is there a place where you have to set the time? DC server? How do they all stay in sync?

At the moment our times on PC/servers are all 5 minutes slow

Many thanks:)

By default domained computers get their time from the DC. So if you change it in the DC, the clients should follow suit.

Just an FYI sometimes in a virtualised environment the time on the host machine will feed down to the virtual machines but like Sirius said, in a domain environment they will feed off the DC

Ok, thanks - So is it a case of set the desired time and reboot the server and jobs a goodun? Or will all machines/servers need to be rebooted?

IIRC they dont need to be rebooted. The time sync goes at a specified interval which I cant remember.
