Timescapes, Chronos, Baraka, Samsara & other Timelapse Cinematographic

Anybody else heard of these documentaries? I've watched them all and they're wonderful. Anyone else got any other recommendations of weird quirky documentary movies with good cinematics? It's a joy watching these on a large screen projector. Breathtaking

I've only seen Baraka but I loved it. It's really good on Blu-ray.

Yeah, Ron fricke is a master of time lapse. Been doing it for years. He also made samsara, Koyaanisqatsi and chronos.

I bought the Samsara/Baraka blu-ray box set as soon as it came out, I'd have loved to have seen it on a 4k/70mm screen last year when it was doing the rounds but all the art-house places within reach only seemed to have 2k projectors.

Oh and I needed to go and buy a blu-ray player too, because we didn't have one.

I've got Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi on DVD, even though Ron Fricke wasn't involved in the second film (and it shows, similar type of film but different style), the Philip Glass score is better (some may disagree) and it's a better quality print.
