My company (and me) wants to look into some sort of automated timesheet software to log the hours of the employees.
Does anyone here use or have experience with something like this? I'm just starting to look into it and have no idea what's available or even what to avoid.
Basically it needs to be able to...
Track around 500 employees hours.
Have multiple projects approx. 20 atm.
Each employee needs to record tasks (lunch, training, data input etc.) in 5min chunks.
I/we want it to be able to say employee 'X' worked on project 'A' inputting data for 'B' hours so far this month, or employee 'Y' worked 'C' hours in total this month on all projects.
Also it needs to be able to track hours for individual projects, for example on project 'D' employees have been training for 'E' hours. That kind of thing.
On the interface side of things we want something tamperproof where the employee can't edit previous days hours or generally **** around, it also needs to be VERY simple, they have enough trouble filling out paper timesheets
I want to get this place into the 21st century as i'm tired of manually inputting hundreds of timesheets every day!!
