Hi All,

I am having ago at overcloking my Crucial Ballistix c3-5300

At 1.9v I can get 1002mhz 5,5,5,15

0r 1.9v 837 4,4,4,15

Is it better to go for speed or tighter timings? Using for gaming and video editing.

I am alose getting mixed messages with regards to the voltage for this chip some people have said stock should be 2.2 others 1.9

Any ideas

Thanks

Shorty

Crucials recommended stock voltage is 2.2v, but a lot of ppl are able to run it lower.

But you should be able to get 1000mhz 4-4-4-12 @2.2v.

As for whether speed or timings are faster, you'll have to run a few benchmarks at both settings to find out.
