Generally confused on what to think is better. For example timings of 2-3-2-8 would that be good? I mean is lower always better? why does some RAM have low numbers then a high one at the end? Like:
CAS Latency : 2-3-2-5
CAS Latency : 2.5-3-3-8
Which is the better? Why? I mean I don't even know what timings mean for RAM. Suppose a google is sufficient but always good to hear from experts. So tell me why would the more expensive one have an 8 on the end and the cheaper one a 5. Its like that with RAM thats a lot more expensive where it has say a 6 at the end and the RAM thats £80 less or so has a 5 at the end instead.
(Keep in mind the RAM is mainly used for gaming so I don't really know whats best in timings for gaming such as BF2 etc)
