Firstly, I know its actually aluminium foil, but tin sounds cooler..

My PC has been giving our houses digital some headaches, such as no reception what so ever when my PC is on. So instead of buying a new case sans-windows, I raided the larder.

The results:

I know, its pretty leen. I found an old, longer power switch and extended it out of the case, covered the windowd panel, and the drive bays, while leaving the front 'slots' open to feed my radiator. Just check the DVD drive hole. You don't get that sort of quality on a Lian-Li :p

I think you could make that look really cool if you could carefully cut lots of 3" x 3" squares and tape them together from the inside. Might take you some time but it would make it look a bit more easier on the eyes ;)

should have got Sky. i love the fact you even went to the lengths of getting an extension for the power switch rather than cutting a lil hole out of the foil.

when i read the title i was thinking of something else.

lol this brings back memories,

i remember(years ago) that i was getting really bad headaches from my pc, at first thought it was all in my head but when the rest of the family started to get similar symptoms, i started to get baffled and first thing i did was to cover the pc in tin foil, did not work though.

it was the power supply in the end that was the culprit.

Surly temps would be higher due to the tin foil reflecting the heat waves back into the case but meh. . .
nice mod and shiny.
