Tin opener recommendation needed

Just get one of those old fashioned lever style can openers. Never go wrong. I have one, makes me feel damn manly if I'm honest.
they do go wrong but I prefer them, my last one had a plastic bushing I guess it's normal but it dried out and split then it was loose and wouldn't grip a can any more properly.

also if u want a peeler, get one of the classic cheap swiss ones they are awesome and super cheap

I have a Kuhn Rikon tin opener. There's a bit of a nack to it but it opens cans really neatly. However it won't open a tin if there's the slightest hint of a dent in the rim. So I also have a cheapo Wilko's one as well.

I can also confirm these tin openers are very good. You can put the lid back on with a decent seal as well.
