Tiny little parachutes

I finally got around to getting some more shots of these tiny seeds, this time using a proper indoor setup. Taken under fiber optic illumination using a Raynox adaptor on my 70-300VR.

Can't quite get a point of focus.

Was this due to insufficient shutter speed?

#2 doesn't work for me. It's a bit vague. The other two however, are quite nice. I think I'm leaning to #1 as my favourite, and I could easily see that hanging on a wall somewhere.

I do agree that the focus is a bit iffy - but given the subject matter this would be quite hard to obtain anyway.

The third image is my favourite, quite impressed!
