Hi all i have just got my friends pc it's one from Tiny and he is having problems with it,Windows just freezes, it won't go past the Windows screen so i have try booting in safe mode but that just freezes there to,also tried Windows repair but don't no the Admin password any ideas on how to get past it, the problem happen after installing Sp2.

The only way out is a complete format and reinstall. You can't get past that Admin password if you don't know it. As far as I know anyway. If there is stuff he needs to back up on the hard drive. Then connect the hard drive as a slave on a different IDE cable in your machine and copy what he needs off it, then format and reinstall.

Can you not reset the admin password with ultimatebootcd or similar? Then backup stuff needed and give it a format.
