Tip: Faster Firefox

Not Sure if this has been posted, as I did do a search of the forums and found nothing but..

All you have to do is this.


In the Address Bar type -> about:config

The in the Filter:


network.dns.disableIPv6 -> true
network.http.pipelining -> true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests -> 8
network.http.proxy.pipelining -> true


Oh, and reload firefox after the changes have been made.

There's an extension called Fasterfox... I guess it does much the same?

there is also an extension called Faster Fox which does all that stuff for you.
