I have tried all sorts to stop prints from fading, genuine inks, sprays that are supposed to fix the pigment, all failed in a relatively short time. I have one A3+ print that has lasted about 5 years and shows no signs of fading or yellowing, and that is with cheap cartridges that I can pick up off Evilbay for peanuts. The trick is the paper it is printed on, I have been using Epson Archival Paper, and it just lasts forever, the downsides are that it is matt and costs about £20 for 50 A4 sheets, I have snapped up various sizes on the Bay for good prices. Not sure if this tip is worth it, but what you save on ink can go towards the cost of the paper, swings and roundabouts I guess.
