Tips and Advice on Backup Exec 12.5

Hi all,

Im using Backup Exec 12.5 with caso so its quite each to check all the backups are completed but also have a number of servers that are using less than 12.5.

I wondered if there is a way I can check the backup completed by checking for a success file or something using vbscript? I have some many servers its quite a long process going through all the emails.

Also post any other useful tips of BE12.5

There is an XML file generated. I forget the name, but it is in the installation directory.

You could parse that?

Spooter i would not bother, why not just either filter your email or set backup exec to only alert you if something fails. Its much easier and you do not get as much spam, well you shouldnt do if your backups are working correctly.
