Hi everyone,

I'm going to be doing a Centurion in a few days time. Just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to complete it without throwing up? I can never quite finish it.

I know your desperate but really a centurion, i'd be worried about breaking a hip or something, btw you best bring some lube

id make sure you take the armour off like a tuna can! =D

Edit - Make sure you dont get any of your *bits* caught in the armour....ouch!

Haha at the replies. :)

You won't throw up don't worry. I've never seen anyone throw up from doing it...drinking after doing it though, you might do. :D

This is actually really easy, if your doing it from shot glasses, then the volume only actually equates to about 6 bottles of beer. Not that much.
The reason you puke in most cases, is the foam/gas.

My tip for completing it, is to open the beer or cans before you start and get some of the gas out, whilst finding a method of pouring that leaves it flat in the shotglass.

100 x 40ml shots = 4 litres = 8 pints max in 1hr 40 minutes...and you're planning to throw up? :p Eat a decent meal a couple of hours before you start is my advice.

I imagine the bristles on his helmet could be distracting along with the socks and sandals combo. Try those magnetic bracelets, they seem to help people who get sea/car sick.

haha oh now he changes it to the drinking game!

Well if thats the case throw up and your a pussy!

As stated leave the cans/bottles to air for a little bit, cider has less fizz so less chance of been sick.

Id just use bitter! =D

Vodka and lime cordial centurion, made it to about 30 or 40 before we were A) out of vodka and B) getting worse for wear.

Cider centurion was more achievable and left us feeling drunk before we left. You think a 25/35ml shot of cider, you're drinking around 5 - 7 pints in 1hr and 40 mins.

I did it many a year ago with Frosty Jacks and didn't find it that hard really! Just belch a lot lol!

Titanium prophylactics? Play safe, kids :p

spirits is difficult, beer is easy.
My best tip for it is to have some timer set to a minute, last time i did it (years ago) we made a one minute wav file that played a noise at the start, and looped it. Means you can just get one with whatever you're doing so long as you make sure your glass is filled.
