So far i have tryed tipping the case and blowing into the loop through the res using a fitting with a tube on it. I have got some of it out from the initial drain the happens when the loop is opened but cant get any more through.

Anyone got more ideas on what they would do ?

Is your drain pipe at the lowest point of your loop?

In the past I've had to put the case in various positions then blow through to get most of the fluid out.

If its light enough tipping it can help. I always tipped the case slightly and then used the blow through method. all blocked up apart from the drain and pipe. Can also help to drain, then leave it 5-10 mins for the coolant to collect into the bottom then the above procedure.

I had thought about letting it collect then opening the drain but the position the case would have to be in seemed a bit too dangerous.

I had to open a port on one of the rads , put a tube and fitting on then pull it out the case and tip that.

With the other it had drained completly with some still left in one of the tubes, which i had to disconnect very carefully then let that drain into a bowl.

My config for the loop is res > rad > gpu > cpu > rad > res , had to do it that way because of the tight space in my core x2. There was still a bit in the gpu and cpu but nothing that got in the way.

Removing them would have been the only way to drain those but i couldnt be bothered.

Now its all filled and i left it running over night to let the bubbles get out the system. Just need to wire it then it will be running.
