tips for my website please

I actually like the deviantart suggestion someone made. If you don't want to go for paid hosting and you don't plan to get yourself pro photography contracts out of it then that would probably be a better idea than what you have at the moment.

Without this being a personal attack, given your <unique photogenic characteristics>, the website would probably be better without a photo of you.

EDIT:Just noticed you've changed it. I like the changes (except that the photo on the front page has scroll-bars!), but still think it would be better on deviantart.

lol you can say im ugly.

and the photo doesnt have scroll bars for me, what browser are you using?

im not sure how to setup a devianart page, i tried before but it got rather confusing and i like the idea of having a website lol, so id probly keep it anyway

So fix it in FF3 - if your site's visitors demographic is anything like OcUK's you'll probably end up with more FF3 visitors than IE users.

what wrong with the background?

I'm not very photogenic so self portraits dont work.

I meant the first one.

To be honest your best bet is literally cheap domain/hosting, and use simple viewer and a bit of text. Them sort of websites are very smart and minimal. My website isn't great, but it's mostly for family to see it & to have the pics up.

problem is i can't really justify the cost cuz im not that good, and i dont have a very big income

Of using a freehost website. Makes it look a tad naff (no offence).

FlickR, a lot of people use it.

.me.uk = v cheap, and so is the hosting. Upto you ofcourse!

but is flickR free?

and another thing i wanted to ask is do you think it's better to have the albums in years like they are atm, or is it better to have it in catorgaries, such as landscape, macro, etc..

FlickR is free, but the pro account isnt.

And in categories.

I'd go with devianart - it is a good community geared up for what you want to do, post pics, get some feedback on them, take on board the comments and get better.

It is free, you can pay to remove adverts and few other perks, but you will be fine with a free account. Keep your own website and link to it from your deviant profile.

Good luck.
