Hi,

Recently got a DSLR - 600D with kit 18-55 lens.

I'm off to Longleat with it soon and I'm wondering if there is any tips you guys could give me?

Thanks.

55 is going to be very short for wildlife, depending on how far away they are

Probably too short, having been to longleat.

In the safari area in particular it's going to be a bit short. But for something like the monkeys that jump up on the car it should be just fine :)

See if you can borrow or rent a long lens. 55mm won't cut it for wildlife, for landscape and architecture it is fine but it is too short for wildlife.

Might be worth looking at renting a lens to test :) Unless you've got a lot of cash lying around :D
