my q6600 oc 3ghz is sitting idle at 43 43 43 41 according to core temp, under load its around mid to high 50's i checked the temp log and its never hit the 60's and running prime95 its never hit 60's,are these temps a bit high? as i want to push the clocks up to 3.2ghz,i have arctic silver paste and an evo blue cooler problem i have is my m/b doesnt give any finger space for tightening the hsf,any tips you can give on fitting it?

seems fine at those temps mate. leave as it is and try 3.2ghz and see how it goes, you never now may only need 1 touch of v and should be fine

cant believe how tight asus have made it:mad:
I think its the heatsink company that designs them to fit motherboards, not motherboard manufacturers making boards to fit heatsinks.

Don't be mad at ASUS, be mad at yourself :o

Always worth doing your homework before you buy stuff and a tape measure is useful also.

Anyway your temps seem fine :)
