TISCALI - CSM???

I have just moved house and to get my phone line connected in the new house it would have cost me £125. As I was already with Tiscali they mentioned that they have their own phone lines now, seperate from bt. So they own line and cables.

So as I am trying to save money I went for it. Has anyone got any experience from this service? They have ADSL2+ in the area for tiscali so I am hoping its that.

If you have probs with Tiscalli make sure that you have medical insurance for the Shrink!
The service is ok for those that accept low connection speeds - like your Gran. If you want a to max out your connectiion then go o2

Not used their lines, had tiscali on BT and was well shot of them, rubbish and the CS woman had a right bad attitude when i phoned up to cancel (wouldn't give me her name either)

Id have paid the £125 rather than go with Tiscali, they terrible.

At the end of the day they're going to be paying Openreach the lion's share of that £125 exactly the same as BT Retail would have, so they're recouping that money somewhere...

Well I have been with them for 3 years and although when there is a problem its a pain to sort out my speed has been fantastic from them. As for money spend, i get free phone calls, no line rental and 8mb for £19.99. So cant complain there.

Unfortunately its the best option for my wallet. Only time will tell what the performance is like.

Just an update on how it went guys. All seems good so far. Getting about 6mb from the 8mb package.

Ping in games, goes from about 20 -30 which is good in my eyes. Gaming is great, tried early, mid and late during the day and no problems.

Only downside is I am still going through the 10 day cooling period. But all in all, seems just as good as before at my old house.

been with tiscali for many a year and only had one problem....
the customer service is a bit shoddy but once i explained to the cs person that i knew about virus scans, tracert's etc it got sorted very quickly.
connection is same as bloodlines on adslmax 8mb package.
