Thanks! yes i probs will be doing some gaming as well! as well as after effects and 3d studio max! will this suit all my needs and better then the one i picked?

Thanks

As above, try doing a self build, will be better all round and people will help you get what you want it to do, as above I would have thought the 3770k is miles better than the 2500k for what you want.

a lot more power i7, later LGA2011 socket, 16gb quad ram could make it 32gb tbh and a good overclocking cooler, ram over clocks well, sdd one of the fastest, can also cache 3tb one as well for more performance and a better vga card and still under budget for a self build :)

same as above with 32gb installed :)

rendering needs cpu power and ram, then a good openGL card to display, this has both, m/b supports 7.1 sound so no addon card needed, but can be added as there's plenty of free space, m/b does triple sli or crossfire so a new psu would be needed for another card but again it can be altered if needed.

sometime an i5 just doesn't cut the mustard, that's what i7 are made for, plus why go Socket 1155 when better is out, if you can wait then try the next one which will be out soon, but the LGA2011 will last longer than the Socket 1155 will do....
